Je suis tres triste. May God grant eternal rest to dear sweet Prince Rainier, so brilliant and so kind. He was a shining example of how to lead a nation. Monagasques have lost an irreplacable treasure ... yet they have been blessed with another in His Serene Highness, Prince Albert, who will build on his father's legacy and continue in his wisdom.
God bless him and Monaco!

To the Grimaldli Family and the citizens of Monaco,
Losing one you love is the saddest experience of all. You enjoyed
the loyalty and love of Prince Rainier for many wonderful years and
now he is in heaven with his beloved wife. My prayers are for you all
to heal sooner than you think possible.
God was looking out for all when he gave you Prince Albert too.
His strength and kindness will be your greatest blessing in the future.
I am so sorry for your loss and you have my deepest wish for
happiness to come back to all.
